Legal Swaps for a CRX in California.
Hello i am wondering what swaps are pretty much legal in california? what are some of the swaps that you can get refed.?? i am looking into a b16 swap but i herd that its not smog legal. I am mainly concerned on making my swap legal and im wondering what would be my best bet for making it legal and everything?

your engine has to be newer/of the same year. it also has to have a US equivalent engine if it's JDM. finally, it has to pass emissions & have all the required emissions equipment. beyond that, you can do whatever you want.

so what would be my best bet for swaps? are there any b16 swaps that are legal? im looking into the b16 a3 out of a 94-95 delsoul.. Does anyone no the price for that engine?

It is only legal if the BAR approves it. That engine might run you about $2200 give or take.
