eg front *springs* on ef?
i wish i had a pic of it, but i just put DA front knuckles and eg stock shocks/springs on my 88 hf. all i have to say is......this car looks like it just came back from a rally. i haven't measured the space between the top of the front tire and the fender but my guess is it's 8+inches or higher.
it kind of looks like yea...i put a lift kit on my crx.
i know DA knuckles have been used on ef's. i used brand new ef uca's. i replaced the lower balljoints with new DA balljoints. i then used stock shocks/springs/forks from a 94 eg.
should i put ef springs on the eg shocks? is that the story here?
i haven't measured the differences in spring height as i have not had 2 side by side. i figured the crx might be an inch or two higher but this is ridiculas.
thanks for input

thats some pretty interesting stuff about fitting EG forks over the lower bracket of a stock shock to get more shock travel.
usually, you break off the whole collar and slip it in further. but that takes a bit of fabrication. all you need apparently is EG forks....
