Default Burning Oil GSR

I just wanted to know people's thoughts on this:

I did a test on my GSR oil. I have castrol gtx 5w30 and went from the top level of the dipstick to the low level after 250 miles. I have a header and exhaust. I engage VTEC normally and shift around 4500-5000 rpms

Should I try another type of oil?

You can try another oil, but if it burns that fast you might want to get it checked out. I pretty much have to give my car ~1/2 a quart of oil every fill up. I got a compression test done and cylinder 2 was low. I'll just live with it until I have money to fix my car.

how many miles are on your car? You could try replacing the valve stems.

So here's the thing: The dealer completely rebuilt my head back in September from 2 bad cylinders. It's a 98 and has 55K miles on it. I decided for them to fix it cuz back then I only had 50K miles.

Any Honda/Acura that is reved to 7-8+ rpm's is going to burn oil, unfortunetly thats the trade off to honda's high reving engines

Could be any number of reasons for burning oil. Valve stems seals could be bad, if the system was overfilled, PCV issues, plugged oil return holes in the head, worn piston rings, and more I have forgotten.

Different oil will not help the issue you are having. I would have someone do a compression check and leakdown test if you really want to know the condition of your engine.

Also, the statement above about high-revving engines is true. Any engine that spends time up in the 7-8k rpm range will burn some oil.
