Default California BAR'ed CRX's: Intake Question

Hey guys, it's me again.

I am getting ready to BAR my CRX but have run into an issue. The problem is with the intake. I have a stock intake and airbox from a DA but it doesn't even come close to fitting in my engine bay, at all.

My question is, what did you guys have on your engines at the time of the BAR testing? I don't know what I'm going to do, except maybe put an intake box from a 1991 Civic DX (DPFI) intake box onto the Integra tube that I have. My worry with this is that the ref will not let it pass the visual test because it is from a different type of engine.

I'm a procrastinator, and now looks what's happening... I suck. Thanks for the help guys.

I have a stock crx air box with a integra intake arm. I had to trim the air box to make it work, but it looks stock. If it looks close to stock it will pass visual. I bet even if you cut the dx hose at the air box, and attached it with a hose clamp it should pass.

when I did my car, I used the stock DX box and tube, but I drilled holes where necessary so that the integra dashpot hose and IAT sensor were mounted to the dx tube. if you were to compare mine to the hose diagram for a teg it looked pretty similar. I'd take a pic but I just recently sold the car.....

I never heard any comments from the BAR guy, so it must have been OK

Well guys from what it sounds like here, I can safely use the DX intake box attached to an Integra tube. Thanks for your replies!
