Default fuel pump

... yea i am buying a 89 crx and the fuel pump is gone on it so i was just wondering if it was to time consuming because i really dont have all that much time to work on it myself.....

and what is a good fuel pump to get....just for a stock crx 89

get the stock fuel pump. it's all stock. why waste the excess money on something else when you don't need any extra pumping pressure. fuel pump isn't that bad to change out. it's an '89 so it's in the tank. you just gotta drop the tank and put it in.

The stock fuel pump is okay for a stock engine but if you have any serouis modification plans for the future you will be back at again.

Not a tough job but dropping the tank is a pain in the ****. It will take about 2 hrs.
