Default Gude Products....

I was wondering if anyone has or is using Gude Performance products? I'm looking at getting a camshaft & valvetrain with the ECU from them for my EX and just wanting some info on them.

Thanks!

Look somewhere else. Their "claimed" gains are no where near close.

Who else would make products along the lines of a valvetrain for the F22B Vtec? I have just the basic bolt-ons with a ZEX kit. Any suggesstions?

I don't really know anyone really who makes stuff for the accords in terms of valvetrain. However, you can port and polish the head and also bore out the throttle body.

You can get a good company to custom make you some if you want...I know that pistons and sleeving can be done custom, I dont konw why Ferrea couldnt make you some good valves and stuff if you gave them money...and Web Camshafts make DAMN good cams for accords, just ask Bisi

Would I be smarter to build a turbo kit for my motor and ditch the nitrous? What do you guys think? If I do do a turbo route, I will purchase a long-block from my local import salvage yard and build it. Who makes internals for the F22B? Do they have to be custom as well?

It would be a hell of a lot easier to turbo rather than a nitrous setup, the block is strong and you can sleeve it and get some forged internals and be a hell of a lot easier regarding custom parts. A stock engine can take a lot of boost before blowing because the Fs are iron and strong as ****.

The F's are iron?? WTF are you talking about. If you dont know what your talking about please dont misinform others and just shut up.

I have a built f22b1 sleeved by RS Machine with custom made Wiseco pistons and shelf H23/F22 Crower rods.

check out accordperformance.com I have bought my head package from them. They have Gude make the products especially for them and they work great. The customer service it great also. I had questions about products that they did not sell and they were able to find answers for me, and as far as their products i have been extrealmy happy with them. I have a 94 vtec accord with their head package and love it .

The accordperformance.com head package gave me 50 hp to the wheels. It cam with the ported and polished head big bore throttlebodie and hi performance camshaft. No one else makes a complete package, and i have researched it their camshafts are the best ones out there. They were making vtec camshafts before the other camshaft companies even new what a vtec was. It is great. I was wondering which is better a cold air intake or just an intake. I have herd horror stories about the cold air intake

BS til proof is given.

So far everything about GUDE has been hearsay. If you read and research about gude on here most of it will come up "I heard". Every company has its bad turnout and theres no one to really confirm that Gude is actually that bad.

I do not understand what you are getting at. I have the Gude Performance package. They designed one for accordperformance.com and that was who i bought it from. I love it and would buy it again. I have a freind that bought a camshaft for his vtec accord and was totally impressed with it. They have been building camshafts longer then Web and make far better camshafts. YOu do not need valve springs and retainers or camgears with their stuff. It was made for the car so you just bolt it on and go. Any doubts check it out.

Im saying can you post proof of your 50whp gain from the head package. Until then its just all talk.

I am in no way saying Gude has bad products. Im just saying that everyone else here who mentions that is just saying it cuz thats what they "hear". I have someone awaiting his Gude camshaft so I'll see what he thinks of it.

Well it use to be mine but I sold it to him cuz i got a V6. I'll let you know but he has a PnP job as well so its going to throw off the actual gains.

Bisimoto on here or look up bisimoto on google. He runs the fastest SOHC powered all motor car. F22 power. Its not F23 but its still basically almost the same.

Did anyone else notice that the person posting about accordperformance.com has the same location as the company address on the website? Hmmm....

Gude has always responded back to me in a timely fashion with a list of all their Accord apps. I have no issues with them there.

I personally have had 2-3 horrible experiences with Gude...and have since learned my lesson from this back in 2000. I always lost horse power. Gude
