b18c5 block with b16a2/b head

Default b18c5 block with b16a2/b head

I am curious if any one knows if there is an advantage of putting the civic type r or si head on a type r block. Or whatever would be the best if i piece a block and head together. also what tranny would be good? some help me please

the Type R head is the same as the CTR head I though, pretty much, but im sure SGT well tell you what the rea differance is, like a extra Bolt on the Bottem of the Rotary Guerder, put there Just to **** him off, I swear he knows more about honda's than anyone I have ever met

Yeah, CTR and ITR heads are identical with exception of the intake cam.

If you are piecing together and are planning to get the head ported, then you can just get a 00 civic si head and have that ported and it will better.

...might be better to try and find an old Del Sol VTEC head... but what do I know... guess it depends on what your going to do with/to it...

I've heard more reports that the 99's are not cast as well, but like I said... what do I know...
