Default Rims

What size rim do you think looks best on a '97 Civic? 17's or 18's? Or is there another size that you think looks really good on Civs?

You're going to get flamed, and everyone is going to tell you 15's or 16's, but its really your own personal preference. Also this belongs in appearance and cosmetics.

Probably 15 or 16's. 17's or 18's make the car look kinda weird. my cousin yelled at me and said i would regret 17's on mine.

17's or 18's... too big for a small car like civics. IMO 16" wheels with a 45 or 50 series set of rubber look prime!

I HAVE some 17's in the shed that I ran on the car for about 2 days before the snows came this fall and I put on the studded snows. Building the motor this spring and definitely going to pick up some 15's or light 16's, cause the 17's make the Civic even more of a hog than it already is.

if you want to go big like the 17 18 range like you were talking, go with 17's because if you go any higher you take a risk of bending or damaging your rims because of the tire sizes and how thin the tires go as the rim sizes increase...
