Default WTF was this ITR owner from Manitowoc, Wisconsin thinking...

http://www.caranddriver.com/xp/Caran...egra&Year=2000

I got this link from searching the Car and Driver magazine website. I *decided* to check out the Reader Reviews and this is one *apparently* from some fool in Wisconsin that rated his ITR a 1 (out of 1-10 scale) overall.

I especially liked how he gave every other category a 2.5...EXCEPT acceleration. I guess he liked the quickness of the ITR...he gave it a 5.

It's either an early 97, or he's a hater and full of ****.

Edit: I'm gonna go with the latter......

I believe all 1997 ITR (at least in the U.S.) were first available on July 17, 1997.

The ITR is not everbodys taste. Don`t forget.

It`s loud. It`s brutal, there`s no room, it`s the platform fot a racecar.

If I`d be the driver of an Audi A8 and like the luxuries, the permament power through all the powerband... well, I would give a **** for the ITR.

Fortunatly I`m not. I like it the way it is, no matter what people think.

If everybody would like it, than it would stop to be a special car. So don`t flame. Let them be the frustrated average dumbasses they like to be.

What do you mean, "no room"? It's got a lot more room than many (maybe even most) other sports cars on the market.

Well, it's a sports car, remember? It's not designed to carry adults in the back seat for long distances. That's like complaining about the amount of body roll when you take your minivan around the track.

Compared to other sports cars, it's got plenty of room for two adults and track tires and groceries and anything else you want to carry around.

If I take my NSX to the track, I can (just barely) fit four track tires in the car with me. If I take the ITR somewhere, I can fit fourteen tires in the car with me, as you'll recall from this quiz.

A GSR would be a 2. Twice the type r's rating.
But seriously, I think he ate a bit too much cheese.

The ITR has a lot more storage space than other sporty cars. I can load everything I need for the roadcourse easily...extra set of wheels/race tires, helmet in my bag, tools, jack, etc.

It's NOT a sedan so I wouldn't expect it to seat 3 comfortably on a long road trip. It really wasn't meant for that. I seldom have more than 1 passenger ride with me.

Yes. As I said: I like it. No flaming please.

Just wanted to explain, how such opinions (overall 1) can come up.

Must be a dumass who doesn`t care for sportivity

Hey guys don't forget, you have to be a fan to love this car... Most people won't like your car... As a driver/passenger, they want a smooth ride from point A to point B. The ITR is not a exactly my mother's idea of a car. It's loud, no A/C, hard suspension...

When I first got my RSX-S, the suspension felt so soft compare to my R... And guess what now, I have a set of Eibach pro kit, waiting to be install.... Kind of miss the R sometimes!

Just my .02$
