Default Apexi Power FC is burning my ecu fuse. Help

I just purchased an Apexi Power Fc w/commander for obd1 Honda/Acura. My car is an OBD2 Gsr. I have a jumper harness so plugs right up. It runs fine with my Chipped p72 Ecu. But when I plug in the Power fc ecu, it turns on for a split second then the fuse burn out. I tried with my friend's obd1 gsr and it does it same thing. Can someone help me?

It's because of the ECU you have. Do you have the B16B EK9 Power FC? That will make a difference. If you have the right ECU, doesn't matter even if the wiring harness is OBD2. It should plug right in...

Also. What map sensor do you have connected right now. If it is anything other than the Stock DENSO map sensor, it's not going to like it..

The product number is 415 z002. It plugs right into any obd1 harness.
The one on the apexi website manual says 414-h001 is for 96-98 Civic and Integras.

Nevermind. I got it to work. The fuse in my car wasn't strong enough. Thanks for the response though.

No. You must have the HONDA ECU for it to work. You must also make sure that you have the right commander to go with it. If it is 414-H001, that should be the universal commander to go with the ECU, but you MUST have a Honda ECU in order for it to work.
