Default VIN stickers on 94-97 Integras, what year was it first placed on this model year?

Anyone know what year the VIN stickers were first placed on the 94-97 Integra 2drs?

There should be one VIN sticker on each:
1. RF Fender
2. LF Fender
3. Hood
4. Driver Door
5. Driver side pillar/panel area where the door closes onto the body.
6. Passenger Door
7. Passenger side pillar/panel area where the door closes onto the body.
8. Rear Hatch

I'm mainly concerned with the '94 model because I was looking to buy a 94 model and it didn't have any VIN stickers on it.

If anyone can take a look at their 94-96 Integra 2dr and let me know I would greatly appreciate it. I know the '97 models have VIN stickers.

Thanks!

I got a '95 & there's no VIN plate on the engine & tranny. But I haven't looked for them on all those body parts. I'm guessing they aren't there until the govt. required it in '96 or '97 or whenever.

Wow, it doesn't have any VINs on it? Every car should have a VIN on it somewhere. The easiest place to find the VIN is on the driver-side dashboard right by the windshield. Every car I've seen has it there.

I think 90-95 Integras only have 3 VIN locations: the door jamb sticker, the dash plate, and it should be stamped on the firewall. There are no VIN numbers on the body parts or on the engine. The only thing that is identifiable on the engine is the transmission id number, which would say something like S80 2000000. This can also be used to id the car, but I forget how, except that the first digit '2' means that it was made in 1995 (2nd year of the 3rd gen).

I'm talking about the VIN STICKERS only. Not the one on the dashboard or the stamped one on the firewall.

thanks though

You can look in the 94 Helms manual for the VIN locations, it's in the first few pages if you want to confirm it. It has little arrows pointing to the 3 VIN locations (firewall, door jamb sticker, and dash) and then 2 other arrows pointing to the Tranny ID locations.

It's cold out & I didn't remove any upholstery panels, but it doesn't have VIN stickers on the hood & trunk like my '98 Accord has.

Here is a link to page 1-3 and 1-4 from the 1994 Acura Integra Helms Service Manual
http://www.redpepperracing.com...1/aac
http://www.redpepperracing.com...1/aad

If you want to buy a helms, you can find the Integra Service Manual for around $60 at http://www.helminc.com. If you don't need it, you can always look online at the links above.

it shows that there are only 3 VIN locations on the car - one on the firewall and one on the dash is shown on page 1-4, while the other one (on the door jamb) is shown at the bottom of page 1-3. The same is true for 90-93 Integras, as I have both the 90 and 93 Integra service manuals sitting in front of me.

Jim says the 95 has these markings as well, so I believe 90-95 had 3 VIN locations and no fender/trunk stickers. I can tell you that my 2000 GSR did have multiple VIN stickers in those locations though.
