1/4 miles ????
The g-tech are only off by 1/10th, so if my g-tech says 14.8 it could be 14.9 or even 14.7
My friend used my g-tech and said the numbers it was giving him were just like what he had got at the track..
The 0-60 times for the g-tech are pretty much exact. All it does is count the time from when you go till your @ 60 mph.

the Vtec 4th Gens are faster then the 5th Gens stock in my opinion, it all depends on the driver of course, I have a 4th gen -80lbs with H22a 200hp and when I shift perfect have run a 14.1

14.1 wow.. even with 80lb reduction and jdm h22a.. thats still hard to believe. nice job though.
the staging lights shouldnt really matter in the 1/4 mile time. only the reaction time. you can sit at the lights for 5 secs after green.. and still run a 14s time.
gtech meter isnt *that* accurate. it all depends on the road. the flatter.. the more accurate as far as ive been told.

hey, whatever you choose to believe, all I know is that is what the Gtec pro told me, and I believe it's accurate enough, like said above it may be .1 to .2 off, but whatever
illusion's right, the flatter the surface your running on the more accurate it is, example: my friend with a 2001 ITR ran a 0-60 of 7.2 with the Gtec pro, but he was also on a hilly road with a fat 200lb girl in the passenger seat, if he's shifting right, with his mods and w/out the girl or hills, he should be runing 0-60 6 or 6.1 sec; he hasn't got a chance to run his 1/4 on it yet, but I could understand how much the hills could effect it the way it is made, it may be the reason it's saying 4.1 or 4.2 when I run, but again, I don't have any completley flat road around here either, just to be fair, I'll try to find a straight road that slightly hills upward or something, being there are no flat roads around here, I'll get back to ya'll in a little bit
Running at a drag strip is different from any other type of racing. You have bleachers full of people that extend half way down the track, you have a guy who justs wants to get you down the track and out of there ASAP running the lights, you have a helmet on that you practically suffocate in, you don't get practice runs, you have to wait an hour between each run, you have a 10 second car running next to you, you have a 30 second car running next to you, you have bracket classes with the other guy's lights dropping before yours. I mean I could go on all day. Personally I hated it, but I know that I'll have to go back to get a damn timeslip to show how fast my car is. Hopefully you don't believe that I run 15.7s on the streets, I just wasn't able to race at the track my first time there and managed to **** up 3 seperate runs. .
heh i dont believe your car is a 15.7 car. i was just joking with you and letting you know that the lights dont affect the e/t. i havent been to the track yet and im sure im gonna be nervous as **** my first time as well.
yeah, with the Gtech you have to be pretty flat at the start, but once you start going it doesn't cancel it, or it hsn't for me anyway, I found a flatter surface to be more accurate last night, and I couldn't find any at stoplights, I went out at 3am last night and stopped in the middle of the road, it still had very slight hills but was pretty much flat, ran a 14.7 once, 14.9 twice, a 15 twice and a 15.1 once
yeah, I agree with laughin, it's exactly how he describes it, and a lot more, I've never run a 1/4 mile track, unfortunatly don't have one nearby, I'd have to drive to Atlanta, wich I'll be doing soon hopefully, but I have run at the the local 1/8th mile back when I was completly stock with my H23, ran a 9.95
which pulley did you replace for 10psi? and what is your iat? must be off the chart.
my stock 97 prelude did the 1/4 in 14.78 and after my mods and such
my best time has been 12.97
