Craftsmanship looks great, coming from a guy who stuffed an H22 in the trunk of a del sol.

I wonder if there are any negative effects from possible weight differences between the F20C and the Miata's engine?

That would be interesting to see in action on a track.

 

The Miatas blocks are cast iron arent they? Excuse my retardedness if this is obvious, I know as much about Miatas as I do about carburators...

 

Miata's curb weight is about 2,500 if i remember correctly, and i think the S2000 is pushing 2,900 so yeah, im curious what that 400lb's shed off of it would do as far as #'s go...i doubt it handles as good, given the placement of the engine and such. But i bet its a load better than the slouch thats in the stock mx5...

 

i still dont' like miatas. hahahahahaha. ..

 

I thought the F20C was a lot taller than a miata engine? How tall is the F20C?

i would say under cause of the massive weight up front... the miata is a front wheel drive car right??? hummmm.. ... (god i hate miatas) hahaha

it does but i realized, oversteer/understeer will be based on his suspension set up

 

the first day i got my miata i weighed it and it came out to 2210lbs with spare tire and 1/2 tank of gas that thing MUST be fast

how did you weigh the car?? did you take it to the truck weigh in stations on the highway??

 

looks like there'll be alittle more room for a Turbo

no i went to one of those dmv weight stations

 

You guys know that the miata's block is iron, and can hold 400hp stock enternals right ? I almost bought a 95 with the 1.8 engine to turbo.

damn! I own one and i didn't even know that. I know of one that does 350whp but that one is built internally
