Default Seafoam killed my o2 sensor

Well pre-seafoam my air/fuel gauge read perfectly..

post-seafoamage.. the thing doesn't work at all anymore.. sometimes works but most of the time has no lights coming on..

anyone else experience this or have any explanation as to what happened?

Seafoam is a solvent and rapid cleans your engine. Most likely your sensor got fouled as a result of the seafoam. This is a common problem when using solvent based cleaners. That's why I prefer esther based cleaners because they work slower and are less likely to cause fouling.

DAMMIT! i just changed that POS! i'll just have to have my car tuned open loop.. i'm tired of messing with that BS! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is a good esther based cleaner? what do you use?

I use Auto-Rx. It's not a cheap product, but it really works. I'm a firm believer in it.
