I was considering ordering the 88-91 jdm ef doors with power windows from passwordjdm but im wondering about the trim pieces. The trim piece on the door looks alot different from the trim pieces on the normal doors. Is it just me or are they different? Where can you get the pieces that follow behind the door and in front of it? I asked password but they never answered me if there different then normal doors. They just told me it comes with door trim on the door. Also is there anything special you need to hook up the doors? Do you have to splice any wires? If anyone has pics of these on there usdm crx it would help so i can decide if i want them or not. I searched the board but didnt come up with any pics.

 

U mean the lack trim like mid door? If thats what ur talking about the jsm just has flater ones instead of our bulky one's. i believe JDM ****.com has these trim pieces brand new both sides for 159. they look alot cleaner.

 

JDM doors are just like our 88 and 89 HF doors but they have the smaller USDM 90-91 moldings. JDM doors also have the smaller door sash.

 

also, if you have a 90-91, what do you do about seatbelts??

I badly need new doors, but i have a 1990 DX and i dont want to get stuck without belts...

 

So for 700 bucks do you guys think its worth it or should I just find normal doors. Anyone have a wiring diagram for them?

 

I don't have pics, but i do have a set of 1991 SIR door for my 1989 Canadian CRX SI. The moldings are the smaller 1990-91 style buts that easy to change. The doors bolt right up and some custom wiring needs to been done to have power for the windows and power fold in mirrors. The extra carpeting that comes on the jdm doors looks really nice. I don't have to worry about door mounted belts as Canada never got any for any year/model. I paid only $300 CDN for my doors.
