Default One quick question about suspension.

All right, my car is ******* too low and I ripped off my splash guard today on the freeway. I didn't like it. (It was that low when I bought it). But anyways, so I'm switching whatever it is now (guessing stock struts with some crappy coilovers) to Omnipower street set up. Now what I need to know is this. The package I'm getting comes with the four units and then either JDM or OEM Itr lca's. I've looked through the archives a bit and found that people are just saying "ITR lca's". Now my question is, do I order the set that comes with the JDM or the OEM Lca's? I wouldn't know much about the differences of the two, so I'm just asking around. From what I've read though, it appears that the 1988 CRX models came with LCAs identical to the JDM ITR Lca's, so I'm just confirming this so that I know what to order because this car is too damn low! PLEASE HELP!

If you have an 88 crx you have LCA's similar to the ITR, the eye style, and should order that set accordingly.

all 88 civic/crx have those lower controll arms. i have an 88 sedan and i use the omnipower itr street coilovers. if you don't have an 88 find any 88 in a junk yard and save yourself some money. if you use the itr coilovers you also have to replace your front forks with 92 or higher ones. if you don't have an 88 it will probably be easier to get the omnipower ef coilovers.

the only problem with using the itr coilovers on an ef is the rear is not very adjustable. at their highest, the rear is still fairly low, but high enough to fit my 215-40-16's without any issues. i have been talking to the guy's at omnipower and they are going to make a new set of bottom perches to fix the problem for us ef-ers with the itr setup. if you want pictures of how high the itr rears can go let me know. i hope this answered your question.

Well, I'm ordering the EF Omnipower coilovers from Kteller, and they come with ITR LCA's as a package deal, and I'm trying to figure out of I should get the JDM ITR LCA's or the OEM ITR LCAS? Or if there isn't any difference between the two. But I really need to know because I need to be able to drive my car.
