Default Tein Lowering springs

Are these good lowering springs? Here is the description:
Tein S.Tech Lowering Springs (Part # SKA24-AUB00)
Fits all Civic 96-00
Front lowers 1.9"/ Rear lowers 1.7"
Eliminates most of the gap between the tire well and tire. Comes with a sound reducing rubber cover (most cars)
Brand new in the box, complete set (2 front, 2 rear)

They are on Ebay right now for $95 plus $30, Is that a good price? Does anyone have pics of that drop or one close to that? Post all the pics you can.

How so? I thought Tein were suppose to be good? I cannot afford something that is $600+ So dont say anything about the full coilover setup.

Does it look like this: I have Eibach springs but I am not sure of the drop, I know its not that much.

How much of a drop are the sportline? I might get the Nuespeed which lowers the from 2.25 and the rear 2.

Haha that's weird...your summer wheels are the steelies and the winter wheels are Si alloys...

Thats not true. the pic of the steelies were b4 I had the Si wheels. i had to get new wheels becuase I ran into a curb with the steelies and bent one and and made one of the tires pop off of the wheel. There are no other wheels I can put on the car.

The drop isn't much, but the ride quality is as good as stock because the spring rates are very low.

lowering springs are such crap. They're for ricers that lower their car for "looks" and add zero performance.

Tein S.Tech blows big time. By tomorrow I'm getting Skunk2 Coil-Over sleeves installed, and think of it this way, I'm hate spending money, but those springs suck so bad that I'm gonna have to cause I can't stand the ride height =\

My friend has STechs on his 2000 ex, and they are pretty nice. The car has a nice drop and they ride pretty good.
