You mean the shock brace / strut bar? The 99-00 Si will work, I'm not sure about the ITR.

No I think he is talking about a different bar. Not the upper strut bar.. (which I think is what you are thinking of...)
My friend actually asked me this question the other day. He has an ITR motor in his EG (a little different) and there is a bar behind the motor I think. that attaches near the steering rack/ rear crossmember. he said the guy that did the swap took it off the ITR and put it on his hatch. He has heard that without the bar people tend to brake axles and such.
I am not to sure myself, as I am still rollin with the D series, just passin on some info I thought may be usefull....

You mean an engine dampner? Like a little shock piston? I didn't know they came stock on any Honda.

No it was definetly not a dampner...
I want to say it might have been the front lower tie bar that came stock on the ITR, but I am not sure...

The front lower control bar comes on all model Integras. The holes are predrilled and tapped on all 92-95 Civics. Excellent upgrade you can find for about 10-20bux. Here's a pic on a 93 Si.

What is the purpose of this bar? How will it affect performance if you put one on an EH2?

Same as the upper bar strut tower bar, rigidity, but in this case it's down low. Ties up the bottom half.

it should... I have the stock one from the GSR, and i believe it uses the same mounting points as the mugen bars pictured. The EK's have a template where to drill on the shock tower. And i have a 4 door EK

I'm aware I stated it earlier. Just for clarification, so people don't search for a VTEC part, when it's not solely for that model.
