I know most of you either in person or conversating through the internet or Expos or about Nitrous or whatever. I can honestly say that everyone I've met or spoken with has been supportive and patient with my journey through life and all my ITR problems back in the day.
I come to you on a serious note today though. My father had a heart attack two days ago. Some of you have met my pops before. He's been an 8th grade history teacher for 35+ years and absolutely loves what he does. He gets voted "favorite teacher" every year. He has 5 great kids, 4 of whom are married (I'm the only one left) and 3 grandchildren. He's taught me everything to know about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. He'd come pick me up when my R was broken down, he'd take me to Honda to buy parts, he'd tow it around, he's come to my track and autocross events. He's the best dad anyone could ever have. They did a heart cathetor this afternoon and found 2 blocked arterties. He goes in for double by-pass tomorrow. I've never been one to judge if someone is religious or not or what they may or may not believe in, but if you have a free second, can you please just close your eyes and say a quick prayer for my father? His name is Steve.
Thanks for all your support. You all are the best
Somehow typing this made me feel a little better about it. Bill Clinton, David Letterman, and hopefully my dad will get through this.

Know exactly what you're going through....my pops had a heart transplant about 10 years ago. Best of luck to you and your dad!!!
He should do fine, the first few hours after surgery are very nerve racking (for you), but within a couple days he should be walking around the hospital (albeit very slowly), returning to his normal demeanor.
