Default Whats the Difference Between Apexi GT Exhaust and Apexi N1 Exhaust for my EK

I am about to buy the exhaust for my 97 civic hatchback. I am going to be running a boosted D-series and I wanted to get either an Apexi N1 Exhaust or an Apexi GT Exhaust. Though, I was looking at their site and specs and they both appear to be the same, yet ther GT exhaust is about a $125 more. They both use 60 mm pipping and have a 115 mm tip. So I was wondering what accounts for the difference in price. I think the exhausts might be made out of different materials but i'm not positive. Could someone please clarify the difference between the two for me. Also, Is there any performance difference?? If so, what is it and is it worth the extra money. Thank You and I greatly appreciate the help.

Still doesn't clarify the difference between the two. Only ratings on them on that thread.

The Gt series has stainless steel pipes and canister and the N1 only has stainless steel canister and the GT series has less bends in it

Alright thx thats the information I was looking for. Any idea of hp or tq differences that would be gained from the GT over the N1. Thanks again.

Because there site doesn't make the difference clear. They make both of them sound like the best exhausts...

the both give about the same hp and torque they just sound alittle bit different cause the difference in mufflers but the GT is going to be alittle better cause of the less bends

Dude, are you sure you were looking at the GT spec exhaust? Because that catback uses 95 mm piping and they don't make applications for hondas. Well at least thats what the site says . You could always go with finding a used n1 muffler (got mine for 30 bucks )+ kteller (or any other place that sells ss mandrel bent piping) 2.5 piping. Youll save money and it'll be just as effective.

Christ people are dumb with these responses.

The N1 piping basically follows the design of the stock exhaust system, using basically the same bends and piping route over the rear suspension.

The GT-Spec on the other hand is a straight pipe from the catalytic converter back, going under the suspension (making for a poorer ground clearance) and only bending once at the end in order to place the muffler off to the side. The idea is that the straighter the piping, the better the exhaust flow.

As for the tool that said the N1 is the best exhaust out there, go do some homework before you try to give someone advice.
