B18b1 in 93 Si-Knock sensor
I checked the codes the other day and i came up with #6 (coolent temp sensor) and #8(top dead center sensor). Now my OBD2 distributor is rewired to OBD1. DO i need and OBD1 Distributor to get rid of the Knock sensor code? I think this is one of the reasons my car is runnign bad. I replaced the Coolent temp sensor about 3 months ago..an't figure out why its throwing that code. any ideas?

did you clear the ecu after replacing the coolant sensor? it might just still have the code in its memory. if you are running an obd1 ecu knock sensor wont matter because the b18b obd1 computer doesnt look for it....
I'm confused.
You pulling code 6 and 8, neither of which are a knock sensor code.
obd1 ls ecu does not even use a knock sensor, so it wouldnt be pulling a knock sensor code.
Top dead center sensor is located in the distributor.

Exactly what I was about to say. You can open up the distributer and check everything out. Make sure your wiring is correct, etc. If it does have to be replaced, and if you have any other obd1 d, b, h, or f series distributers laying around, you can use those internals and swap them out.
