like the title says: just a quick question:

i brought this 94B18b from OSAKA MOTORS, it it woudn't start...upon
pulling the head this is wht i saw:





so when i tried to turn the crank, it was siezed pretty bad...i wound up snapping my breaker bar

so my Question is: Can this block be salvaged or is it pretty much a done deal?

 

is that rust in there ??? if so send it back for a diffrent one first and see what they will do for you ,

 

I have only heard negative things about that company. Their proces are good but service and products suck. The best thing you can do it call them directly and confront them about the situation. Good Luck.

 

just call osakajdmmotors and talk to them. I am pretty sure they have a start up warranty.

 

yea, thanks guys...i diid do that and since i've had the motor longer than there "start up" policy outlined, i'm pretty much SOL. i just want to kno if theres anything i can do along the lines of a complete rebuild/ boost. if this block can be salvaged, i'll do it...if not it'll be junked

 

osaka ...cant believe they are still in business or been sued
