what wheel offsets fit 6th gen civics? whats the downside to having too much offset?

 

to start off with...do you know the explination of wheel offset? Not trying to be rude....just want to see if you know exactly what your trying to ask.

Anyway....for the offset you need a high (35-45) its a basic fwd offset

 

offset is used for larger width wheels, correct? it designates the amount of space between the bolts and the wheels extension. Im considering buying some Mugen RnR's tomorrow which are 15x6.5 and wanted to make sure they will fit.
