How often do you change your plugs? And what kind are they?
I know that copper plugs last 10K, give or take a few more thousand in N/A form but since this is the F/I forum and my car is boosted, I was just wondering about the lifespan of copper plugs (specifically NGK-BKR7E).
Thanks!!

I run ngk r5671A-9 with a 25 thousands gap in my car. I check them regularly to make sure they are still looking okay. Really depends on the weather. In the cold they only last a few weeks, but in sunny southern california they last awhile. Really awesome plugs though, the best ive ever used.

I haven't changed plugs since I've been turbo (like 5,000 miles) and I was running these same plugs for about 20K before that. Regapped them a little while ago but why spend money when you don't have to?

My car needs a retune, but If I don't change my plugs by 4K I get hard starting and misfiring.

I went 45K (30K turboed) on the factory original plugs, I checked them probably a dozen times, and they always looked great. When I finally got the Hondata, my tuner replaced the factory plugs with the '7' heat range, and I haven't changed them since, maybe 5K miles, I'll check them before I drive the car again in the spring, but don't expect any issues.
I have NGK Iridium heat range 7 plugs and they are rated to last 100,000 miles. Just took mine out the other day to look at them 9,000 miles so far and they look just the same when last took them out for a look at 3,000 miles.

For the price they cost it'll save you money in the long run and they'll give you better performance...

The Advance Auto Parts or any of its sub divisions do not stock BKR7Es and must be special ordered.
If there's any online links to where I can buy them in mass quantities, please direct me.
Thanks!!!
