take the spare tire out... take the tools in the trunk out.... thats pretty much it.... everything else you're going ot have to just gut the thing out.....

besides the spare and tools you can buy lighter seats, remove the airbags, lighter exhaust (any single sided exhaust will save at least 30lbs), lighter wheels (16" CE28N's will save about 5lbs per corner), test pipe vs cat.

anything else will reduce your comfort like removing the a/c or the radio..... I doubt you will notice much difference in a car that is just 100lbs lighter with removing that stuff listed above.

unless you completely gut it, it won't make a big difference

If you are really desperate, like going to the drags, pull the DCB bumper beams. Good for 24 worthless pounds total.

Contact Wings West
Give them $8000
They give you a full carbonfiber S2K ~2100lbs.
Thats about as light as you can get.

wing west? $8k? 2100lb? impossible.

to get 2100lb, you have to have full CF body (DRY CARBON) not cheap 2x2+ wet weaves. also most of the weigh savings come from gutting the car, not body parts.

weight saving mods that i did:
-Gutted softop+motor, add Mugen CFHT -55lb
-Gutted trunk (sparewheel+tools, carpet) -35lb
-Gutted interior (all carpet+plastics) -45lb
-Gutted dash (no vents) -10lb
-Gutted SRS airbags (no passenger or driver) -15lb
-remove stereo (speakers and all) -10lb
-remove misc harnesses+cables -5lb
-remove windshield sparyer reservior -5lb
-5lb TopSecret Ti exhaust -50lb
-Toda headers -10lb
-Catless, testpipe -5lb
-remove AC (blower+condensor+lines+compressor) -50lb
-remove stock seats and replace with bride's -35lb
-remove stock seatbelt setup and replace with Takata -5lb
-Top secret CF hood -8lb
-remove stock intake to j's CF -7lb
-mugen lightweight alum radiator -7lb
-Spoon light weight battery -15lb
-ATS CF clutch+flywheel -11lb
-Spoon 4pot brake kit -5lb

So we have 388lb shaved.

There are still many weight to be removed.

Full carbon fiber, what about front fenders, rear quaters, and bumpers. Not to mention the wheels and brakes. That should shed a few more pounds.

Yeah yeah you know what I mean.

How do that do that? Cover a preexsisting peice with CF and cut part of it off later?

i think they use it for a mold and once they create the mold they make the peices.. and then they test for fitment on your car....

yeah they all do the same thing.. it allows for easier production.... so once they got the skeleton. they just fill it in with whatever they are using to make the fender and it just molds to the skeleton... once it drys.. they take it out.. and bam... there's your fender or whatever it is...
