Default motor swap

I want to drop an LS block with a GS-R head into a 2000 2dr DX, mainly doing this so I can boost fairly high, I just want to know good parts to put into the motor before I rebuild it, also, what am I looking at as far as a tranny for an LS goes, and a fuel management system on the new hybrid....also, will i need an engine harness, and once its in the car, how will it ride, will it be just like it was with the SOHC, will it ride like an si, or will it be firm and not feel right. I drove a 95 ex with an LS motor, and it was such a bitch to drive....
