I just got a Skunk2 Intake Manifold for a GSR. All that is in the box is the Intake Manifold. What else should be in there.

If it's new, I would assume it would come with a skunk2 catalog.

 

Don't they come with skunk2 stickers also?

Even my skunk2 **** and short shifter came with stickers and/or a catalog.

 

did it come with the throttle body

 

I dont mean stickers or catalogs. I mean other parts to go along with it.

 

like hoses and little odds and ends

Can anyone tell me exactly what there Skunk2 intake manifold came with. I have a box, styrofoam, and an intake manifold.

you purchased a manifold, thats what you got
you want more?

what else do you need?
intake manifold gasket
throttle body gasket

if your using a hondata intake manifold gasket, you will need new hardware to bolt on the manifold, stock hardware is too short

 

No I purchased an open box IM. It looked like other crap was supposed to be in there.

 

you purchased a manifold, and thats what u get

in order to do the install, all you need are two gaskets


you got ripped off, I got some stage 2 cams with my manifold

 

I was just making sure that was everything that came with it to make sure that the guy who I got if from didnt take anything. It was opened and there was no sticker so I thought he might of tooken other crap to.

i just got my skunk2 and it was just a manifold. i mean thats what you ordered. i got stickers and the manifold. thats all that comes with it. all other parts have to be bought separatley

 

The only hardware a skunk2 manifold comes with, is the manifold itself. I assumed you knew that, and thought you talking about all the misc paperwork.

 

Yea I meant, as in paper work, ect. It seems like I asked a stupid question now. Do you guys think it would hurt to use an LS throttle body on my Skunk2 IM for a GSR. Im doing an LS VTEC and thats the style of head im using. I dont have another throttle body. It works and everything though. I already tried it on.

 

The only reason I asked the question was that I got it in a box that was open and in the styrofoam there looks to be a place where something else (2 items) go. Thanks for you guys help though.

 

well the intake manifold should come with a c.a.r.b. sticker and invoice from where u bought it from. I dont know much about tb's but its prolly to go with a gsr throttle body is you have a gsr head
