b16a bogs at high rpms

so i'm starting in first, i'm getting on it, and at 6300 my motor just bogs, then shoots to 8200... the motor is a jdm b16a.. any ideas on what it may be??

Either there is a problem with the Vtec solenoid or your ECU.

If you've got a vafc, check the connections. Mine did the same w/ screwed up connections.

yes, i do have a VAFC. what exactly went wrong with you're wiring?

Either your vafc or your runing in limp mode? i dont know is thats how your trying to explain what its doing or not. any CEL's? too many maybe? like the guy said before solenoid or ecu
