lowering question
im gonna be putting rims on soon
so im gonna drop the car first
only because the suspension needs to replaced , its worn out
so im gonna be putting 15-16 inch rims cant decide yet
and i want it to perform and look better
so how low should the car be lowerd with out looking retared
and when i do replace this stuff
i need lowring springs and shocks
btw im a new to suspension .... shocks is the same as Coilovers right?

shocks = dampers which are only part of a coilover suspension. Most honda suspensions are coilover in design, but people generally refer to adjustable coilovers as simply "coilovers."
Don't bother asking how low you should go so that it looks good. It only matters what you (and the girlies on your block) think looks good. If you or the girlies can't decide, go with the adjustable variety so that you can change it whenever you want. Find a good height, set your alignment, and forget about it.

well how much can you spend on suspension??
you could go anywhere from some agx/illuminas and dropsprings(around 4-500dollars)
to koni's and ground controls(great setup around 700)
or some full coilovers (anywhere from 600 to 3000! )

Well, you don't NEED them, but in your case they would allow you to adjust your ride height in both directions until you were happy with the results. This saves you from buying more than one spring length on a non-adjustable setup.
