Squeaky Clutch

I have a 97 Civic EX I just got this last November and I notice the clutch squeaks whenever I press it in. Is this normal? This may seem "noobish" hehe, but this is the only standard transmission car I've driven.

Mine does it to, someone told me its some bearings maybe in the clutch?? i dono for sure cant remember, I know a lot of the civics do this

Make sure it is not the clutch pedal itself.
Sometimes all it takes is some wd40.

no i remember this being asked before and there were bout 200 responses with people sayin theres sweaks 2. its def a honda thing. alot of peoples only squeeks when they first start there car though

Ya my 94 does it when it's cold. It's a little annoying, but as long as i goes into gear im happy.

Same. Only does it when its cold. No biggie imo.
