It just occured to me, the SH came with painted skirts and rear under spoilers. A lot of SH's were also fitted with OEM body kits at the dealer. Am I correct in assuming that there are a lot of SHs out there with their factory painted skirts and rear covered up? I've got SH sides on my base and have been considering painting the rear, however, I'd much rather have the SH pieces. If I'm right, anyone want to swap rear under spoilers (looking for CBM) plus some cash.

 

OEM lip kits are different from SH sides/rear, it's a little thicker in width. The SH side/rear is the same as the base sides/rear, just painted to match the car's color.

IMO, I would just paint the sides/rear, or get the OEM lip kit.

 

You're right there is a difference however, I much prefer the look of the painted SH sides and rear to the OEM optional kit. I have the OEM front under spoiler (lip) and it'll look perfect with the SH pieces. I picky, what can I say.

 

Why don't you just paint your sides/rear then? They're the same as SH's, just unpainted.

Maybe your just too picky and want the real SH sides/rear.

 

I may just be too picky. I already have SH skirts so all I need is the rear. I'm not paying a shop $150 to paint the rear and I have a friend (good painter) who will do it for $75, hes just busy a lot. I should just take it off the car, take it to his house and tell him to call be when its done. At the same time, I've got the SH sides, will my car be complete without an actual SH rear?

 

Just get your boy to paint the rear.
