Default Best cams for the power

I'm new to the site....a buddy told me about it and he was telling me I could find the information I wanted here. I have a 96 H22A in a 96 accord, it has a few bolt-ons. I just dynoed it with 198 to the wheels. I wanted to know what are the best cams to get for my engine? want to go N/A with motor, but I want as much power as I can get doing it. Was thinking about Crower StageII, I have the STR 68mm Throttle body and i'm waiting for SkunkII to drop the Intakes, for what I can understand they are on backorder.
Thanks for any info anyone can give!!!!!!!

first off buy sms, or prospeed header, then get some crowers or skunks, and tune

You going all-motor? We don't see too many H22s like that.

What he said. Get one of those headers unless you took off the bottleneck and replaced as much piping of that DC header with 2.5" piping

I've seen quite a few.. Most that go all motor with the h22 are cars that have the swap. I don't see too many all motor h22 preludes.

ditch those headers while you're at it and go w/ smsp or something if you can afford it

Yes, all motor! I just think too many people are straying away from all motor, curious to see how much is possible all motor. I think i'll be happy, at least for a while

I would recommend Crower Stage II's with the valve train - Springs and Retainers. I got 20 whp with a VAFC tuned.

some people have had problems with crower cams, they are cheaper than skunk2's but i havent heard of anyone with problems with skunk2s...but its all up to u, out of the header choices smsp would be #1 pick but its twice as expensive as the prospeed and they may not even be available for a while...i would say skunk2 stage 2 cams and u can the get rocketmotorsports springs/retainers from kteller.com

20 whp from stage cams and tuning is very disappointing....at least for me....

..... Also, how do you like the 68 mm STR. I am debating between a 68 and a 70 for my all motor h22 and I also can't decide on a brand. I would appreciate anyone's input.

I am all motor. No VTEC either. I think that I could hit 190+whp and over 175wtq with better tuning and cam gears; more with P&P, better header/exhaust. All without cheating.

For the price I have seen the best gains from Crower cams (not bought from the Crower website mind you). Jun is the way I would go but $800 is a lot and they are pretty agressive for daily driving.

I would say jun cams. I have always wanted to go with crower stage 2's but I have heard people have had problems with them breaking.
