Yes it will. The difference is between the 88 and 89/ 90-91 transmissions. The 88 trans has a different amount of splines on the input shaft than the newer transmissions. There is however no difference in the blocks besides the flywheel but you already have everything you need to complete the conversion.
Yup. In general, it's easiest to match the clutch and flywheel to the year of the transmission being used. Any '88-'91 flywheel should bolt onto an '88-'91 block, but the flywheel friction surfaces and mounting points for the pressure plate may be different from one year to the next (except for '90 and '91, which stayed the same).
