Default Little help

I have a JDM B16(PR3) that I swaped myself into a '88 CRX DX. I have been driving the car for over 6 months in stock trim and for the past few week with an Apexi VAFC2 I also installed. During last weeks heavy rain, I encountered a leak and in turn think it caused a problem. Out of the blue in the morning I got code 12, thogh the night before it was not on when I parked the car.

Now code 12 is EGR related on OBD0 ecu's and the JDM PW0 does not have a pin for ANY EGR system. What is the code for then.

I am actually getting 2 codes. 1 long flash then another long followed by 2 quick flashes. Now the first I know is the O2 sensor as I have had it since the swap. ( I know the wiring there is correct, I just need new O2 sensors) Which I am not worried about as I am also piecing together an OBD0-OBD1 conversion. But the 12 is what is tripping me out.

Could this be the ECU going bad?

Also Since I connected the VAFC2 I have had a beef with Apexi. See the instructions refer to a "PA sensor" which they claim is on pin C9 on the EF B16 ECU harness. Though I used the Sport Compact Car " DP EFI to MP EFI/VTEC conversion" guide to do my swap and conversion, and their diagram said the red/wht wire that WOULD go to C9 isn't needed. I left it unplugged at the harness until I encountered the Apexi manual. I get a constant reading of .759 and I have it set to the metric measurement for pressure; kg/mm or something of that nature.

The JDM diagram and pinout both show NO PA sensor for the B16, but a Chiltons shows one for both DP and MP EFI systems.

Where would the PA sensor be in theory on a B16? I know they are not refering to the IAT sensor, and even though wires that run from the PA to the MAP splice together according to the Chiltons guide, I would rather do it right.

So where would the PA be mounted on the IM? Are all PA sensors the same, for instance, could I go to the salvage yard and get one off a B18 or D series, even F or H?

So again the main questoins here are :
1) PA sensor: Where should it go, interchangable from D/B/F/H series motors

2) ECU: Why code 12(EGR) if JDM PW0 ECU does not use EGR.

I do have all CA required smog equipment for the specified chassis to comply with CA emissions laws, will this affect any of this?

And I am an experienced tech so you can say it how it is I will understand.

Thanks in advance.- Josh

Sounds like code 22 depending on how seperat they are, usually the codes are in order, like 2, then 22, not 22 then 2.

Code 22 is the vtec oil switch
