Default Compression Test and Gas Line

The instructions on the compression tester say to disconnect the gas line, but I was wondering does it even matter besides the fact that you will get a lot of gasoline in the cylinders? Will it affect compression numbers like a cap of oil would on a blown ring? My guess is that it wouldn't affect it much, but was wondering what other people think/know.

u dont want to flood ur engine with gas, plus it will affect the comp results if ur fillig the clyinders with gas. waht you should do is pull the ecu fuse, that will keep the injectors from firing

Yea, i will do that next time, but do you think that gas can affect the compression numbers to like +50psi or so? It seems unlikely to me.

yea, that's pretty high, but gas is so much less viscous than motor oil.
