wow, i am glad you posted this topic. i was wondering in fact, and now I can sleep in peace
Youch thats gota hurt. I work in the medical imaging field and I get to see some pretty bad stuff, this is a 7 on the bad factor. We have some images where you can't even make out a solid bone, looks like it got run over by a steem roller.
How long ago did that happen?

yeah thats what they told my parents while i was in the trauma unit in a coma. said thats where they get most of there organs....i wish i had a dig cam cause i got some xrays of my elbow. nothin compared to yours. 2 plates and 14 screws.
my fibula xray looks identical to that! the only painful part is when the screws start to bend and back themselves out. i was amazed that i could walk on mine a week after it was broken and protruding from my body, ouch! it wont set off airport metal detectors, its made of titanium.
heh, bionic! I kinda figured it was titanium, but hey, a bad joke is a bad joke....well, you've got more in common with a car than most people, right?
its made of titanium.

My bone is receding away from the screws = loose connection = a little play in the old arm.

I've seen tons of films of fractured bones. You certainly have alot of hardware. The pelvis is like a pretzel. You can't fracture it in only one place.
i was fracture free (not counting a tooth) until last spring, when i snaped my right clavical while skiing (actually, while crashing, skiing would have been fine)....fortunately, nature was able to do it's thing, and it mended with a nice lump to freak people out. Here's hoping we keep the percentage of metal holding H-T members together at a minimum, glad you guys are still kickin it with a tasty groove.
man i should post a pic of my healed elbow...
stupid doctor set it wrong, so now i have what's called a gunstock deformity....its pretty funky...ahhh where's my camera
