Default Timing Belt Q

Do you think that I should go with the OEM timing belt or the Greddy's extreme timing belt

EXTREME TIMING BELT
Engineered to increase heat-resistance, flexibility and durability, GReddy Extreme Timing Belts reduce the chances of cracking from heat, inconsistent timing from stretching and skipping or snapping. Improvements in materials and construction lead to a more reliable belt that will be more consistent and last longer.

just get an OEM one, a friend of mine ordered one, but it took forever to get in, so he just got an oem one and saved some money

Are you running more aggressive cams, and higher redline? If not, then dont waste your money.

And if so, dont buy greddy. Buy Toda.

I'd go OEM. Factory backed and will fit perfect every time. And it's very rare to hear horror stories and problems about factory Honda parts.

if you plan on going oem.. i'd go for goodyear gatorback belts from autozone.
They are visually cleary a lot better quality than OEM. Installed them in all the cars i work on.. and none have n e trouble.
Also, autozone sells goodyear gatorback belts, but the kelly springfield timing belts are now goodyear gatorback belts too now.. except that it doesnt say gatorback, so that might save you some money.

Go OEM, you have no need otherwise.
