Default head gasket question

just was wondering if a6 h/g will work with z6 motor cause i know that all the sohc heads are compatable with the a6 bottom end with a few changes to the oiler jet. also need to know if any of u speed freaks have figured a way to mod the crank sensor i.e. to run dizzy less ignition?

Maybe. But regardless, I would not use it. The A6 uses a composition style head gasket while the Z6 uses a metal head gasket. If that head ever comes off for any reason, you are stuck with the horrible (and I mean horrible) task of having to scrape the gasket from the aluminum surface. Why is this so horrible? Because the gasket sticks HARD and you can't be so rough as to gouge the surface. And so-called 'gasket remover' does little (if anything) to make the job easier! Believe me, this is something you do not want to do. So don't be a cheapskate. And just buy the metal gasket. Believe me, you will be glad you did the next time you remove the head. The extra bucks are well worth it. Also consider that the Z6 gasket works on the A6 and that many people use the Z6 gasket on this motor just so they won't have to scrape again!
