Quarter panel cuting questions
I need to cut my old quarter panels to weld new ones on.
Bodyshops une a small cuting wheel on a compresed air Tool.
I dont have this tool or compressor, what Tool could I use to do a neat Job

you need to drill out the spot welds to remove the whole panel.if you want to cut out a section,use a cutoff wheel.not to be a dick,but if you don't even have access to simple tools like that to do it,maybe you need to let somebody else do it,or save money until you can afford the basic tools needed.

A friend lent me a electric powered shear. I tried it and it works, Im just wondering how nice of a line I can cut with that tool.
Im changing half of the quarter panels, the factory spot welds arent really important for now since I plan to redo the job as soon as I get more tools and cash its just a fast winter fix to stop the rust.

the car hasent ran in 3 weeks the snow and rain rinced most of the salt off.
anyways there is so much rust that the cops will stop me if I drive the car. I dont feel like ending up with a safety inspection
