Default d16y7 to 94 civic lx engine, worth it???

listen up boyz, need to know, my buddy just bought himself a 91 crx si, and he still as is 94 civic lx 4dr, now the engine in the 94 only has 105000km, compared to the 245000 on the si, the si runs great but does burn oil when you give her, now i checked up specs on both motors, and it looks like the crx engine's got more power, dont know how that works, but would it be worth it to swap out engines, cause that 94 lx engine is very solid, and what would i have to do, swapp dist.,
can i run the si ecu, do i swap intake manifolds, do i use si injectors, anything
thAT may help, thanks

well the engine will be OBD1 and I wouldn't recommend trying to make it OBD0. You'll have a much easier time just using a conversion harness. You may not be able to use the LX ECU because that ECU is probably for an automatic. You may have to find a manual ECU but I'm not 100% sure.
