Default Yet another question about some B16A history (Yes, I do have a fetish for it!)...

Alright this deals with the 4th gen and 5th gen Civic SiRs and '90-'91 Integra XSi/RSi's and '92-'93 Integra XSi/RSi's...

Alright I know that:
1.) '88-'91 JDM Civic/CRX SiRs got the OBD-0 B16A Gen-1
2.) '92-'95(or was it through '00) JDM Civic/CRX SiRs got the OBD-1 B16a Gen-2

I am confused about:
3.) Did the Integra XSi/RSi's switch to the Gen-2 in '92 (Switching from 160ps to 170ps)?
4.) Is the '90-'91 Integra B16A Gen 1 OBD-0 or OBD-1

I think I have more questions, but can't think of them right now. I'll post em up when I think of 'em.

Thanks in advance...

Thought of it as soon as I clicked 'Post'...

As far as Civic SiRs go, do 5th and 6th generations both have B16A G2s in them, just with 6th Gens being OBD-2? Or is there a B16A G3, which is just the OBD-2 version of the B16A . Furthermore, if it is a B16A G3, are the specs on it any different from a B16A G2?

Copied this straight from http://www.integra.orcon.net.nz/engines:

B16A4 1.6 16V DOHC VTEC PGM-FI 1595 170hp@7800rpm ? 96-00 Civic Si-RII

B16A4?!? No such thing, right?

I think that B16a4 is basically a B16a2 with very minor alterations and it was never actually labelled B16a4.

Yes the Xsi/ Rsi switched to the 170 hp engine but I think it was in late 1991.

The 1989-91 XSi is non obd .

I thought the 92 XSi B16 was a 160ps with obd1. I know it shares the old 1st gen B16 intake and I thought it had the weak cams and lower compression compared to the 92-95 B16 in the Civic.

The 89-91 XSi had 160 hp, 58mm tb, 10.2 compression and weaker cams
The facelift model got the 170 hp engine with better cams, 10.4 compression and 60mm tb. The intake manifolds are slightly different and the newer one has dohc VTEC on the valve cover rather than DOHC vtec.
