1988 crx or 92-95 civic ex
I had an 88 CRX DX, traded for a 95 Civic EX. (Notice how I went from mid-grade CRX to highest end Civic). I sold the Civic and bought a CRX Si about a year later. And I'm never gonna be without a CRX again. I wouldn't even consider a 92-95 Civic over a rex again. Absolutely no comparison in the "fun to drive" category. Even with the VTEC.
I'll just say this: a few years ago I was forced to get rid of my 1989 CRX Si because I had to move across the country, and the CRX couldn't come. So as soon as I got back into Cali, I immediately started searching for another CRX, and sure enough I bought another one.
What I am saying is that I love CRX's more than any other Honda, so there is no way I would ever want to drive an EX over a nice CRX. Another benefit of the CRX is that there is only 2 seats, so there won't be hella people trying to bum rides off of you.

comfort wise i would go with an eg.i loved my 94 more than anything.sure it was slow but it was clean and cumfy.dont get me wrong i am on my second ef and have owned 2 in the last 3 years, but for $$$ its older so **** brakes more frequently and its louder"more squeks and such"but then again the parts are cheaper.if i had to make up my mind right now to sell my 91 hatch with my b16 swap for eg hatch with the same swap i think i would go for it.i feel like a real traitor saying that but im tired of always replacing **** every day.i fix it then there is another problem.oh well.i will prolly end up buying a dc2 next.
