What would you do?
I had a Mugen-chipped P30 that I needed to get rid of in exchange for a stock P30, so I put up an ad. Some guy accepted it, and I sent out my ECU first, then got his as promised. In my ad, I had mistakenly indicated the wrong VTEC point, and when the person I traded with notified me of that, I apologized, and offered to trade back ECUs at my expense, paying for shipping for both. He said that it was okay, that he would keep it. Cool.
So, yesterday, after having the ECU for about a week, I get this email:
"Just e-mailing to let yo uknow that after driving @ for about a week with this computer I am going to take you up on the offer to swap back. The high VTEC crossover and its healthy appetite for gas is too much. It really would have been ok if the VTEC would have been the 500RPM lower. I will pay to ship this computer back to you. I only ask that you send mine out and I can send yours back when I get mine in. I wish things could have worked out for both of us a bit better. Please let me know what you think."
Now, I offered to trade the ECUs back a week ago, and he says no. NOW he wants to trade back after driving on it for a week and deciding that the doesn't like it. Morally, I think I should keep his ECU b/c I feel that he should have researched the ECU program before jumping up and deciding to get it. I feel that once the initial offer to trade back was dismissed, I was exonerated of the mistake of regarding the VTEC crossover. Personally, I think it's b/c it uses more fuel than he's comfortable with. What would you do?

I agree.

You offered him that deal because you made a mistake. He accepted that mistake and decided to keep it. It's been a week, so too bad imo.
But, I know what Darth VadeR needs to be doing.. STOP POST WHORING AND GET READY TO DRIVE TO FLA!

More responses please, responses will dictate my actions. I'm trying not to be an @sshole about this, so I'm trying to see what you guys would do.
