I just bought brand new struts and lowering springs. Have not even installed on crx yet. I was wondering if these would be fine on my 95 civic ex 2dr I just bought. I know different spring rates per vehicle but does it really matter that much?

 

Anyone know?

 

They won't work the springs and struts are shorter. the springs are bigger diameter on the 92 and ups as-well.

 

They will bolt up, but they are shorter so I wouldn't recommend it.

 

if the shock is shorter, thats an advantage to me (able to get lower without bottoming out), unless im missing something about the install that makes it otherwise impossible.

i believe you need the lower fork to make it work too.

 

Thanks everyone that was all I needed to know. I'll just buy new struts and springs. Then sell the others on ebay.
