Default Problem with new suspension setup

im hearing a very weird noise coming from the driver side wheel. its like a knocking sound. it 'knocks' every wheel rotation, so at high speed its a loud noise low speeds its a stedy knocking. there is no sound from the other wheels. now, i changed the struts to tokico blues and put on a set of ground control coilovers. its not that low, bout an inch drop. any ideas what is causing this problem? thanks.

my guess would be a loose nut/bolt somewhere along the way.. possibly the one at the top of the shock shaft. check them all, as even being a slight bit loose can cause LOUD noises once the suspension is loaded.

everything is bolted up nice and tight. just checked that. im thinking it might be the bearings or something with the axle.

lug nuts were not properly torqued on there.

was using the 80ft/lbs instead of the the 90ft/lbs ratchet for the aftermarket aluminum rims.

You might want to grab some hubcentric rings while you are at it.

Whats this got to do with anything?

Not needed anyways. I've never used them, and never used 'hubcentric' wheels on track and never had a problem

ding ding ding!!!! we have a winner

Honda (along with many other manufacturers) uses conical self centering lug nuts in which hubcentric rings are not needed. Think about it, does an OEM Acura/Honda alloy wheel have an exact machined hub? No. They do not come with hubcentric rings from the factory because it is not necessary because hte lugs do it for you.

Hub centric rings just make an additional assurance of alignment of the wheel and mating surfaces. Necessary? not likely. Hurting? Doubtful.
