i have a 92 CX with stock motor. the car's been running fine for the past 5-6 months, but starting last week, every once in a while while i'm driving and shift to neutral, the car would idle at like 100rpm or so. the car would shake violenty as if it's about to stall out. this also happens when im waiting at a red light. the only way around it is to bleep the gas over and over.. which makes me look like a ricer when ppl next to me hear me revving. what could possibly be the problem?!

I suspect you have a 5 speed tranny do you?

a bad IAC will cause a bad idle, but when mine went bad it caused my car to rev up & down at idle. I've also heard that low coolant level or air bubbles in the coolant could cause bad idle.
