if i decide to build my head i was wondering if i were to get valve springs and retainers but stock valves if that does me any good and another thing i heard that getting stiffer spings can cause your camshafts to brake and i dont realy want to get up grade cams yet because im not sure if i want to go turbo or all motor

stock valves are great, and no stiffer springs wont break your cams

stiffer springs own j00. Yeah, I wouldn't worry about your cams breaking, hehehehe. <--- This ******'s on PCP.

i wouldn't really worry about upgrading valves unless you're going to be boosting to the max.

even if you go small boost, you'd still be ok with stock valves, although, it wouldn't hurt to have them yah know.

And yeah, I would wait on what cams you get depending on whether you want to go NA or Turbo.

And about the nitrous, if you aren't shooting in that much, maybe you could get some bigger injectors & FPR... not too much $. I'm not expert on fuel though... I'm still studying that area. Overal, upgrading the head is not as much of a hassle as the block. So I wouldn't worry too much about having to open her up again.

some one said they would sell me there competely built head using crower titanium springs and retainers. SS valves, Crower Stage 2 cams and is Port and polished. if i were to buy that is it still ok to use nos and i was wondering if the msd 6a is plug and play or if it requires any tuning

who is that person and show us the conversation. Be careful and get some pics form him and show them here so we can help you decide if its a good deal.

If its been ran since the head was P&P dont pay extra for it because you will not be able to see the quality of work as well, and your taking a risk of buying a head with bent valves again.

Why would he get a type s or euro r when that head would flow and run alot better? Any way ask for pics!

Also you may want to find out why he only has 99% on his rating.

I use stock valves on my built engine...you need stiffer springs to be safe at higher rpm ranges. Many cams will require them. I'd be carefull with crower springs, some people have had to grind down their rockers.

it all depends on how much boost you want to flow throught that head.

1)get a better title
2)use punctuation
3)if you are searching for the cheapest route, turbo and nitrous is not what you should be using

I am getting a headache trying to read what you are writing. As someone previously stated, if you are looking at the "cheapest" way to do something, I wouldn't consider nitrous or a turbo.

P.S- It's "nitrous"... not "nos".

n20 is the cheapest for the hp gain. But your better off not going the cheep way. You get what you pay for.

whatever you do, decide it all now. Dont go out wasting money and jumping on the bandwagon. Any mod done to your car, head work for example, will be dependant whether you're gonna go with nitrous, NA, etc...

So be realistic, do your research, and plan carefully.

My advice on the msd is that you should read up on it on their site or something so you get the correct info from the company and not frm someone who only knows what there friend tells them. That happends sometimes here.

If your going turbo in the summer start saving because its ****** expensive and n20 for just right now is a dumb waste of your money.

Oh and please us the period key and the enter key here and there so that I can read this a little easier.

haha sry im lazy but thanx for the advice but the only reason im gettin nos is because my friend had it in his integra and he sold it. So now he said i can have the n2o for like 100 so its not that big of a waste of money but i just dont wanna blow my pistons or somethin like that.
