getting a dc header and running an oval style muffler by magnaflow, what size resonator should i get? im thinking 22, but will it fit? let me know. thanks

my setup will be 2.5"header + 2.5"cat + 2.5"b-pipe with 2.5"resonator + 2.5"ES oval muffer.

just wonder but did u decide to go with the 22" resonator? how does it sound?

 

With a free flowing exhaust, the largest size resonator that can fit would be my choice. It will calm down any raspiness and mellow the LOUDNESS a bit. I have a Magnaflow straight-thru oval and I wished I had a few more resonators if I could fit em in there.

 

It helps drown out alot of the sound caused after adding a larger exh manifold..

 

Magna packs work well too they come in 14 and 18 inches i believe. they tend to work better then most resonators. how ever if you want to go cheap get the 22"
