Default are these slicks good for my setup??

My friend has them for sale for $250. the slicks are 24.5x9x13's on diamond racing wheels 13x8's. I have a b18b with a small 14b snail on stock 8-10psi maybe 12psi. i was just wanting to know if there to big of a slick or not. He has a del sol all stock motor with the basic bolt on's I/H/E and a Intake manifold. He launched at 6k and they just bogged his car he said if he had a Shot on there they would be fine but was to big and is getting smaller ones. He ran them twice on the track and took them offand is selling them for $250 like said above. They still have nipples/******* on them.

I'm running 24.5's on my setup. They are HUGE. A word of caution - if your car is lowered, you're going to have to either cut or roll your fenders to accomodate these tall and wide slicks. The kid I bought them from had to cut his fenders. I am on stock height and they barely fit.

Mickey Thompson E/T Drag 24.5x8x13 on what I *think* are Independent Racing Wheels.

Thanks guys yeah the slicks are Mickey Thompson's and I'll prob be around 200HP -250HP for the summer just depends how things work out. Thanks for the info on being to big. Yeah my car is lowered damn didn't think I'd have to cut the fenders cause he didn't on his del sol and it's lowered.

With that HP range I would say 22x8's would be perfect.. 24.5x9's are very tall slicks..
