Nitrous/slicks
OOOOOOOkay,
I'm debating what size jets I should use this spring, I have a b16 in my 91hatch with basic bolt on's, and a exeddy clutch. Last season I used 50hp jets and everything was great. This year I was thinking of going with an 80-or-so jet. SOOOoooo my questions are...
_My motor has 80,000K on it, will it be able to withstand an 80 shot?
_What things can I do to increase the jet size and insure a lesser chance or motor damage?
On a seperate topic,
_What would be the best size rim for slicks, and what size should the tires be...?
I kinda assumbed light weight 13" Rims would be best but yeah... can anyone help me out?
THANKS!

As for the first question,
Your motor would hold up fine with an 80 shot if you tune it right. You could get away with running high amounts of nitrous/boost only if you tune it properly.

woha, Tuning has ALOT to do with it. But you cant tune out physics. Is ur shot Wet or Dry????

nitrous is only really dangerious to the engine if the fuel mixture runs lean. You need to understand how nitrious works before you can use it in decent moderation. I don't mean to lecture you, especially since almost all of my knowlege on NOS is in theory and nothing is hands on. But i understand that on a 75 shot you need to retart the timing 2-3 degrees so you have more fuel
